What is Temple Country Retreat & Spa?
Temple Country Retreat & Spa is a Destination Spa. A Destination Spa differs from other Spa’s in that it is built for the sole purpose of being a Spa, and not a hotel with a Spa added on. See home page and Philosophy.

How do I “Spa”?
From the moment you step foot in the door, we look after you. Our aim is to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and to feel your very best again. Let our attentive staff guide you during your stay. (You will be given a guided tour of the facilities & welcome chat on arrival).

What do I wear?
A toweling robe & slippers are provided. Please wear your robe, slippers & underwear for treatments. Disposable underwear will be provided if required for body treatments. Please remove jewellery before treatments and activities.
Loose comfortable clothing is ideal for the activities such as the Yoga, Posture Class and the Gym. Trainers are recommended for the gym for your safety & comfort. Please bring suitable outdoor wear if you are interested in the walks. (We still go in the rain).
Swimwear is required for the Spa Pool, Sauna & Steam.
You can wear your robe or tracksuit for breakfast and lunch. The dress code for evening dinner is smart/casual.

What treatments are suitable for me?
Our professional and friendly therapists will guide you on how best to get the most out of your stay, advising the right treatments for you. Guests are required to complete a confidential heath questionnaire on arrival.
If you are under the care of your doctor for any reason, please bring a letter of approval for any intended treatments and activities from your doctor. If you have any concerns or queries regarding treatments please do not hesitate to contact us in advance of your stay.
During your stay, please feel at ease to speak to your therapist in confidence before and during the treatment regarding your particular needs or problem areas.

What happens if I cancel?
Booking deposits are non refundable. However, cancellations made 7 or more days prior to arrival can be transferred to another date, subject to availability. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to your arrival will result in full payment.
Full payment will also be incurred for any treatment not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to appointment time.

- The Spa is open on Mondays on Bank Holidays
- It is open for residential & non residential visits
- Please arrive at 9am for Day Spa
- Please arrive at the Treatment Waiting Area 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. Arriving late will cheat you of precious minutes of your treatment time.
- We advise guests to book spa treatments in advance to avoid disappointment on arrival.
- Mobile phones must be switched off before entering the reception area of the Spa.
- Please leave valuables at home as we are not responsible for lost items.
- Temple Country Retreat & Spa is Wheelchair accessible.
- Temple Country Retreat & Spa is an Adult Only Destination Spa (over 16)
- No Service Charge is included on your bill. Tipping is welcomed for exceptional service. Guests have a choice to tip to our global service pool at reception or at their discretion they can tip individual members of staff.
