Sometimes when we are unhappy or dissatisfied with our lives we tend to make external changes—new house, new car, new husband! Things may improve for a short while.
However what we may really need to do is make internal changes.
In order to make these internal changes we need to take a serious look at our present life by considering

And how we will get there.
A Life Coach can lead you on this journey of self discovery. It is not counselling—this is important. Life Coaching is for people who want to move forward, perhaps feel stuck in a rut, who feel they need to make changes in their life.
WHERE YOU ARE NOW:
All aspects of life are looked at—career, health, fun, friendship and physical environment. A holistic view is taken in order to see if there a balance in one's life. A successful career on its own—without fun and friends—will not satisfy.
Nor can the career be considered truly successful if it's not what you really want to be doing.

WHERE YOU REALLY WANT TO GO:
Life Coaching considers what you want in life—what you value, what you need. A lot of un-happiness is about un-met needs. What are your needs? Are these being met in your present lifestyle? We all have the answers within ourselves. By listening and asking challenging questions a Lifecoach can lead you on this journey of self-discovery and self knowledge.
We also consider why we do the things we do.
Everyday we make 100s of decisions—we are making choices all the time and are not even aware of most of them—they are at an unconscious level.
Our lives are shaped by these choices we make.
Behind every decision is a set of beliefs, values and priorities we've picked up along the way

What we must do to belong.
What's ‘good' or ‘bad'
-subtle message from our upbringing—very powerful messages! These guide our decisions and choices—and can sometimes have a negative effect on our lives. In Life Coaching we look at limiting self-beliefs which may be holding us back.
Awareness brings change . By becoming aware of this negative thinking we can move forward and take responsibility for our own life.
You are in control—not your husband nor your horoscope, --not your body nor your boss! The only person you can change is you. Believe in yourself and take responsibility for your own life and happiness.
Issues which arise—such as stress, time management, finance, low self esteem—are talked through and dealt with.
Having considered every aspect of your life you become clear and focused about what you really want. In some situations it means accepting that certain things cannot change.
HOW WE WILL GET THERE:
With your Life Coach you look at the steps you need to take by setting GOALS—long and short term GOALS.
This is the specific action you must take to convert your dreams to reality.
