Wellbeing
To be physically well, at one with ourselves and our environment, with the people around us and the circumstances of our lives … a natural state of health & wholeness
Wellbeing takes us by surprise. The health spa is an environment where we can experience wellbeing, removed from the pressures of everyday, undressed - taking off our "working" uniform, wrapped in loose clothing (robe / tracksuit) - cared for, and being with others who have also taken off their uniforms and symbols of status, meeting at a level of humanness.
In allocating this time for our own care, in the acceptance of our selves, in sharing life's experiences, a sense of wellbeing gradually envelopes us . from our own resources - physical, physiological and psychological - coming together in harmony.
To effect a change that will last beyond the visit - for the body's resources to begin to come together in harmony - a minimum stay of three nights is recommended.
Wellness
At Temple wellbeing is the goal and wellness is the path, the sum of the practices we bring to our daily lives to continue to cultivate wellbeing
The Temple Wellness Programme offers the opportunity to acquire information and skills for incorporation into individual wellness practice . to manage the resources of the body - physical, physiological and psychological - to achieve the quality of life we want to enjoy for the duration of our natural lifespan.
The Wellness Programme offers information and understanding of the underlying principles of wellness, individual consultations in relation to diet, fitness and/or lifestyle, one-to-one personal training.
The wellbeing experience is the first step of the Wellness Programme, and in order not to take from the wellbeing experience, additional time needs to be allowed for training in the wellness practices. A minimum stay of five nights is recommended to gain an introduction to some of the skills and resources to begin to effect lifestyle change.
Retreat
Silence and stillness. An extra dimension of wellbeing and wellness. Deeply relaxing, deeply renewing. Potentially transforming. Allow 7 days or a further visit.
Programme under development.
